Valentine’s Day isn’t quite complete without a happy ending, we’ve collaborated with Kurdish chef, teacher, food writer and creator of the BEST baklavas in town - Melek Erdal - for a dreamy dessert of Walnut & Cinnamon Baklava accompanied by our Burnt Honey Ice Cream – a sweet gesture that is the antithesis to the usual tired romantic clichés.

We object to the tyranny of Valentine’s Day and wanted to create a relaxed brunch where friends, family and lovers could gather to experience great food and hospitality. And who better to collaborate with than someone whose stunning food, craft and narrative we adore? Melek’s decadent handcrafted baklava is a powerful tool in the face of V-day cynicism – much more thoughtful than a last minute bunch of limp roses!
